Once a refuge for Jacobite rebels and home to generations of the Gordon family, it has been lovingly restored to offer impeccable comfort while retaining its original charm.

Steeped in rich, unrivalled Scottish heritage

Since the 16th century, the castle has been passed down through the Gordon family. Extensive additions were made in 1820 under architect John Smith, and the private chapel—completed in 1870—was once described by the British press as 'one of the first and most beautiful oratories in the kingdom.' Though fire damaged parts of the castle in 1926, it was carefully restored to preserve its story and grandeur.

Today, Cluny Castle is a perfect blend of old-world soul and modern luxury. Featuring a dramatic crenellated façade and accessed via a majestic, tree-lined drive, it also comprises a breathtaking chapel, a picturesque lake, wooded parkland, a babbling stream, and a grand hall for indoor events.
